DESCRIPTION:
Zanfrini & Guger, Blandford, English banjo-style mercury wheel barometer, walnut with string inlay, thermometer with red alcohol, "dry damp" dial at top, c1850
CONDITION:
the little top scrolls are damaged with some losses, and the lower small ivory knob is broken and detached (but included). Some veneers are lifting a bit at the edges. The bottom name plate has an empty glass tube that originally was a level. The silvered dials are tarnished but intact as are all the glasses. No shipping, must be hand-carried in an upright position. Ht 38 1/2"
